abstract The present invention relates to a separator for a lithium secondary battery, and a lithium secondary battery comprising same, which comprise a porous base material and a coating layer positioned on at least one surface of the porous base material, wherein the coating layer comprises a first inorganic particle, a second inorganic particle, and a binder comprising a (meth)acrylic copolymer comprising a first structure unit derived from (meth)acrylamide, and a second structure unit comprising at least one of a structure unit derived from (meth)acrylic acid or (meth)acrylate, and a structure unit derived from a (meth)acrylamidosulfonic acid or a salt thereof, the average diameter of the first inorganic particle is 400 to 600 nm, and the average diameter of the second inorganic particle is smaller than the average diameter of the first inorganic particle.
