Provided is a rubber composition which can highly achieve both of handling stability and low rolling resistance. A rubber composition comprising a rubber component (A), a filler (B) and a thermoplastic resin (C), wherein the filler (B) comprises carbon black, the amount of the carbon black is 30 to 90 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component (A), the amount of the thermoplastic resin (C) is 1 to 85 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component (A), the thermoplastic resin (C) comprises a styrene-alkylene block copolymer, the alkylene block in the styrene-alkylene block copolymer has a -(CH2-CH(C2H5))- unit (CA) and a -(CH2-CH2)- unit (CB), and the total content of the unit (CA) is 40% by mass or more relative to the total mass of the unit (CA) and the unit (CB). |
