abstract This ligation device comprises: a treatment part; a long, narrow power transmission member for operating the treatment part; and a link that connects the power transmission member and the treatment part in a separable manner. The link has: a hook comprising a first deformation part and a second deformation part that are deformed by the force received from the power transmission member; and base that can engage with the hook. When in a coupled state in which the power transmission member and a clip unit are coupled, the first deformation part is positioned away from a base line. The base line is a line that passes through the second deformation part and a portion where the hook and the base are in contact when in the coupled state.
