abstract |
Provided are a production device and a production method with which it is possible to produce, from CH4 and CO2 via CO and H2, a gas that contains a lower olefin including propylene, with high activity and high selectivity. This production device is provided with: a synthetic gas generation part to which a gas containing CH4 and CO2 is fed from a first feed part and which generates a synthetic gas containing CO and H2 while heating a first catalytic structure; a gas generation part to which the synthetic gas is fed and which generates a gas that contains a lower olefin including propylene while heating a second catalytic structure; and a detection part which detects propylene discharged from the gas generation part. The first catalytic structure is provided with a first carrier having a porous structure and first metal microparticles disposed within the first carrier. The first carrier has a first passageway. The first metal microparticles are located in the first passageway. The second catalytic structure is provided with a second carrier having a porous structure and second metal microparticles disposed within the second carrier. The second carrier has a second passageway. A part of the second passageway has an average inner diameter of not more than 0.95 nm. |
