abstract |
Provided are a small molecule protein for eliminating oxygen free radicals and the use thereof, wherein the amino acid sequence of the small molecule protein is SEQ ID NO.1; the small molecule can eliminate oxygen free radicals in the body by combining divalent manganese ions, maintains the dynamic balance of low concentration of the free radicals, has an action mechanism similar to that of superoxide dismutase 2 (Mn SOD), can be used for preventing and treating cancers and multiple side effects brought about by postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy, inhibits the re-formation or diffusion of cancer cells, and has high economic benefits and social value as a raw material for preparing auxiliary drugs for radiotherapy and chemotherapy of cancers. |
