abstract | The invention relates to an electrostatic image development toner which has an excellent capacity to be fixed on a polypropylene film and which results in images printed therewith having excellent scratch resistance, and also relates to a resin composition, or the like, for use in the electrostatic image development toner. The electrostatic image development toner and the resin composition for use in the electrostatic image development toner each contain a non-crystalline polyester-based resin A and a crystalline polyester-based resin C, wherein the non-crystalline polyester-based resin A has a constitutive site derived from a polyester resin, and a constitutive site derived from a modified polyolefin-based polymer A having a reactive functional group, the polyester resin-derived constitutive site and the modified polyolefin-based polymer A-derived constitutive site being linked via a covalent bond, and the amount of the modified polyolefin-based polymer A-derived constitutive site being 5 to 30% by mass with respect to the total amount of the resin components in the toner. |
