titleOfInvention Composite carbon particles, method for producing same, and lithium ion secondary battery
abstract The present invention relates to composite carbon particles, each of which comprises a carbon particle (A) and a carbonaceous cover layer (B) that covers the surface of the carbon particle (A), and which has only one peak in the temperature range of 600°C or more but less than 620°C and one or more peaks in the temperature range of from 620°C to 1,000°C (inclusive) in the differential curve (DTG curve) of the TG curve as obtained in a thermogravimetric (TG) analysis in the air. The R value of the particles is preferably 0.10-0.40; and the variation coefficient of the R value is preferably 0.30 or less. The composite carbon particles according to the present invention enable the achievement of a lithium ion secondary battery which is excellent in terms of low-temperature charge and discharge rate characteristics, high-temperature storage characteristics and high-temperature cycle characteristics, while having low internal resistance and high coulombic efficiency.
