titleOfInvention Stationary ambient air cleaning device and operating method
abstract The invention relates to a stationary ambient air cleaning device (10) which is designed for removing dust, in particular particulate matter, and harmful gases, in particular nitrogen oxides, out of the ambient air. The ambient air cleaning device (10) comprises a housing (1) having at least one flow inlet opening (20) and at least one flow outlet opening (11) and at least one filter element (13) arranged between the flow inlet opening (20) and the flow outlet opening (11), as well as a air flow generation device (17) which is designed to generate an air flow from the flow inlet opening (20), through the filter element (13), to the flow outlet opening (11). The filter element (13) comprises at least one filter bellows formed by a folded combination filter medium, having at least one particle filter layer and at least one activated carbon layer, which is arranged on the particle filter layer, wherein the activated carbon layer has activated carbon particles made of an activated carbon material. The activated carbon layer has a weight per unit area of 200 to 1200g/m² and the combination filter medium, in particular the particle filter layer, is electrostatically charged. In addition, the particle filter layer of the combination filter medium has an air permeability of at least 300 l/m²s, in particular at least 1500 l/m²s, at 200 Pa. The invention also relates to an operating method for the ambient air cleaning device.
