abstract The present invention provides a method for regenerating alumina. The method for regenerating alumina comprises a step of mixing fatty acid-adsorbed alumina, an acid catalyst, and alcohol. The method for regenerating alumina has excellent regeneration efficiency and enables the regenerating of alumina while producing a usable fuel. In addition, the method for regenerating alumina may be performed at a temperature significantly lower than in conventional regenerating methods. Thus, the method provides reduced regeneration costs and is eco-friendly.
