The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method that makes it possible to safely and efficiently produce an isocyanate compound. This production method for an isocyanate compound is characterized by including: a step for irradiating a halomethane with high-energy light in the presence of oxygen at a temperature of no higher than 15̊C; and a step for adding an amine compound and reacting without radiating the high-energy light. |
