abstract | The present invention relates to a metal material manufacturing apparatus and a method thereof, comprising: a container which provides a space therein to accommodate a melt; a nozzle disposed at the bottom of the container to discharge the melt; a cooling roll rotatably spaced below the nozzle to solidify the melt to produce a metal material; and a blocking part which prevents the melt from contacting at least a portion of the bottom surface of the nozzle. The present invention can produce a high-quality metal material by preventing the formation of a coagulated material on the bottom of the nozzle during the production of the metal material and preventing the occurrence of defects such as cracks, scratches, etc. in the metal material due to the coagulated material. |
