abstract The purpose of the present invention is to achieve a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery having excellent charging capacity following high-rate discharge. The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to the present invention comprises: a porous layer for which the aspect ratio of a projected image of an inorganic filler at the surface of said secondary battery is in the range of 1.4-4.0 and the maximum value of a peak intensity ratio: I (hkl) /I (abc) is in the range of 1.5-300; a positive electrode; a negative electrode; and a non-aqueous electrolyte which contains 0.5-300 ppm of a specified additive.
