titleOfInvention Novel method for rapid test of sepsis with gram-negative bacterial infections
abstract A novel method for rapid test of sepsis with gram-negative bacterial (GNB) infections, comprising: blood culture, dynamic sampling, dilution, heating, spinning, and further dilution, and performing measurement by using a dynamic endotoxin measurement system (K-LPS-A) and a limulus amebocyte lysate (TAL or LAL). The novel method for testing GNB infections is much faster than the conventional BD BACTEC system (hours to ten hours ahead), is particularly applicable to the early stage of sepsis with low bacterial load, and helps make appropriate treatment decisions earlier.
