abstract | The present invention addresses the problem of providing, for a molded product formed of an elastomer, a means for preventing the growth of fungi which cause the occurrence of internal stain and discoloration, unpleasant odor, and skin problems, for a long period of time, without involving safety concerns. This antifungal molded product is formed of an elastomer and is characterized by having an antifungal function layer that contains an iodine compound and is formed on all or a portion of the inner side of the base body thereof. To solve the problem, this production method comprises immersing a mold for a molded product in an elastomer solution, pulling the mold out of the solution and drying the same to form an elastomer coating film on the mold, then immersing the mold in an emulsion solution containing an iodine compound, and drying same to produce an antifungal function layer on the elastomer coating film, and finally releasing the product from the mold by inverting the same. |
