abstract | Provided is a cleansing cosmetic which has excellent detergency with respect to oily stains, can be washed away with water, has an appropriate amount of viscosity, and does not easily drip down while held by hand, has excellent spreadability, and has excellent discharge properties, especially when filled into a pump-type container. This cleansing cosmetic contains a thickener (A), an oil agent (B), and a surfactant (C), wherein 0.1-20.0 parts by weight of a compound represented by formula (1) is contained as the thickener (A) with respect to 100 parts by weight of the oil agent (B) (in the formula, R1 is a group obtained by removing 4 hydrogen atoms from the structural formula of an aromatic ring, or from a structural formula in which two or more aromatic rings are bonded by a single bond or via a linking group, R2 is a C4 or higher aliphatic hydrocarbon group, and R3 is a silicone functional group).
