abstract The application relates to a T-shaped pulmonary re-expansion device consisting of a main body with air inlet windows disposed in the main body, a flow occlusion/release lid with windows, a pressure gauge with a visual disk indicator and indicator tapes with pressure indication symbols in centimetres of water, an air gate valve and a pressure relief valve. Additionally, the application reveals a method for visualising intrapulmonary pressure level in a comatose-type patient with altered state of consciousness by means of the pulmonary re-expansion device and a method for visualising intrapulmonary pressure in a patient without altering the state of consciousness with the pulmonary re-expansion device.
