abstract | The present invention describes a device for studying the behaviour of fluid sample phases of fossil origin, comprising a pressure cell comprising a plunger, a stirrer and a viewer, a temperature-control system, a system for supplying a fluid sample of fossil origin, a system for injecting a secondary fluid sample, an NIR probe, a line for withdrawing the mixture of fluid samples, and a valve system for observing the Joule-Thomson effect. The present invention also describes a method employing said device, comprising the steps of injecting the fluid sample of fossil origin into the pressure cell, adjusting the temperature conditions of the pressure cell by means of a temperature-control system, adjusting the pressure conditions of the pressure cell by actuating a plunger, injecting a secondary fluid sample into the pressure cell, and using a data acquisition and automation system to monitor the information obtained. |
