abstract |
The present invention discloses a radiation curable resin composition for forming a primary cover layer of optical fibers, which contains a urethane oligomer, a polymerization initiator and a radically polymerizable non-urethane monomer. The urethane oligomer is a reaction product of a polyether urethane prepolymer and an isocyanate reactive compound containing one active hydrogen group; the isocyanate reactive compound contains an aliphatic alcohol and an ethylenically unsaturated group-containing isocyanate reactive compound; and the content of the aliphatic alcohol in the isocyanate reactive compound is 24% by mole or more. |
