abstract | Provided is a thermosensitive recording material formed by successively stacking on a supporting body an intermediate layer including hollow resin particles having one, or two or more hollow portions, and a thermosensitive color forming layer having a leuco dye and a developing agent as main components, wherein: the hollow resin particles contain, as repeated units forming a resin portion, an acid group-containing polymerizable monomer unit in a proportion of 10 to 60% by mass, and a crosslinkable monomer unit in a proportion of 5 to 65% by mass; and in the hollow resin particles, the numerical proportion of particles having a void ratio of 70 to 90%, a numerical average particle size of 0.8 to 3.5 μm, and a particle size at least equal to 10 μm is less than 1.0%, and the amount thereof loaded in the intermediate layer is 0.7 to 15 g/m². |
