The invention relates to a modular, mobile, compact, multi-stage and highly efficient biogas facility (100), a method for operating a modular biogas facility (100), and a system for the computer-assisted, decentralized monitoring and control of at least one modular biogas facility (100). The system can be equipped with modular, local intelligence and a local control unit. The modular biogas facility (100) is provided with a plurality of tanks (10) for accommodating biomass (3). The tanks (10) can be fluidically connected to one another. Furthermore, at least one gas reservoir (20) is provided for the biogas produced in the modular biogas facility (100). Each of the tanks (10) is a module (1) in the biogas facility (100). Each tank can be positioned in a rigid and cuboidal frame (12), with the cuboidal frame (12) having six side faces (14). The side faces (14) of the cuboidal frame (12) define an envelope for the tank (10). |
