titleOfInvention | Device for reducing the redox potential of water |
abstract | The invention relates to the field of producing electroactivated drinking water having a negative value of redox potential and a neutral pH. The proposed device for reducing the redox potential of water comprises water supply means and two vertical electrodes: a cylindrical cathode and an anode arranged coaxially therein, forming an electrolytic flow chamber connected in the upper part with means for discharge of treated water. The cathode is made of titanium. The anode is made of graphite or schungite. The electrodes are arranged in a dielectric housing to form a catalytic chamber between the inner wall of the housing and the outer surface of the cathode, which catalytic chamber is connected in the upper part with the water supply means and in the lower part with the electrolytic chamber. The technical results are to produce very pure drinking water with a neutral pH, a low redox potential and a long storage life, as well as to simplify the design of the device for producing such water. |
