abstract |
An imaging element according to one embodiment of the present disclosure is provided with: a first electrode which is composed of a plurality of electrodes: a second electrode which is arranged so as to face the first electrode; a photoelectric conversion layer which is provided between the first electrode and the second electrode, and which contains an organic material; a first semiconductor layer which is provided between the first electrode and the photoelectric conversion layer, and which contains an n-type semiconductor material; and a second semiconductor layer which is provided between the second electrode and the photoelectric conversion layer, and which contains at least one of a carbon-containing compound which has an electron affinity that is higher than the work function of the first electrode and an inorganic compound which has a work function that is higher than the work function of the first electrode. |
