The present invention relates to a preparation method for a nanofiber composite comprising a high-conductivity valve metal oxide, and a nanofiber composite prepared thereby. More specifically, the present invention relates to a preparation method for a nanofiber composite, which can be used as a catalyst or an electrode active material for secondary batteries, and to a nanofiber composite prepared thereby. The preparation method for a nanofiber composite according to one embodiment of the present invention allows the shape of crystals of the valve metal oxide to be conveniently modified at relatively low temperatures through first and second heat treatments. In particular, the nanofiber composite prepared by the preparation method described above has a bandgap of 1.5 to 2.5 eV, and accordingly, serves to increase the degree of reflection in the UV-NIR region. Furthermore, the nanofiber composite may be applied as an electrode active material, and the valve metal oxide contained in the nanofiber composite forms oxygen-deficient crystals, thus facilitating intercalation/extraction of charge carriers with large ionic radii. |
