The present invention addresses the problem of providing a chlorinated polyolefin resin that has superior adhesiveness and that can be produced via a single series of production steps without using a chlorine-based solvent and without producing any byproducts. The chlorinated polyolefin resin has a chlorine content of 1–45 wt%, inclusive, and is obtained by chlorinating, in the absence of an organic solvent, a feedstock composition containing at least a polyolefin A, or acid-modified version thereof, that is liquid at 40°C or less and a polyolefin B, or acid-modified version thereof, that has a melting point of greater than 40°C and no more than 150°C. |
