abstract | Provided is a block copolymer which can be a precursor of a hydrogenated block copolymer. The block copolymer comprises polymer blocks [A] and [B]. The polymer block [A] comprises units of a polycyclic aromatic vinyl monomer including at least two monocycles selected from the group consisting of aromatic hydrocarbon monocycles and aromatic heteromonocylces. The mass ratio of the content of 1,2-vinyl bonds to the content of 1,4-vinyl bonds in the block copolymer is 5/95 to 90/10. |
