titleOfInvention Method and device for treating cell suspensions
abstract The invention relates to a method for treating cell suspensions, comprising the following successive steps: supplying at least one cell suspension and at least one process gas and mixing the cell suspension and the process gas; bringing the mixture of the cell suspension and the process gas into an supercritical or subcritical state by means of increasing the pressure by a high-pressure pump to a pressure higher than 20 MPa and a defined temperature; and suddenly releasing the pressure to below 20 MPa in order to disrupt the cells of the cell suspension. The invention further relates to a device for performing the method.
