abstract The invention relates to a device for the thermoregulation of a neonatal or paediatric patient, for use before, during or after surgery or during a transfer process. The device prevents episodes of hypothermia by providing warm air from an external source of thermoregulated air and allows the entry/exit of wires and probes connected to the patient. The device comprises a flexible inflatable body (1), with a shape defined by a top horizontal portion (10) comprising opposite end edges (11) and a central area (12) from which an integrated vertical portion (13) of the body (1) projects downwards, while between the central area (12) and the opposite ends (11) are formed cover portions (16) that can be folded over the patient. According to the invention, the body comprises means (20) for concentrating and directing warm air from the foot area, means (30) for folding when in an inflated state, connection means (40) for connecting to the external source of thermoregulated air, and adjustable securing means (50) for closing the device on itself.
