abstract | A preparation method for nanoprecipitated calcium carbonate having a core-shell structure, comprising the following steps: (1) the preparation of core-nanoprecipitated calcium carbonate: calcining low-grade limestone to obtain quicklime, digesting and removing slag, and adjusting the solid content of a first lime slurry; delivering the first lime slurry into a carbonation tower for a carbonation reaction to obtain a core-nanoprecipitated calcium carbonate suspension; (2) the coating of the shell: calcining high-grade limestone to obtain quicklime, digesting and removing slag, and adjusting the solid content of a second lime slurry; to coat a shell, mixing the core-nanoprecipitated calcium carbonate suspension with 10-30 wt.% of the second lime slurry, and preparing a suspension of nanoprecipitated calcium carbonate having a core-shell structure by employing a method of carbonation or a method of aging; obtaining nanoprecipitated calcium carbonate having a core-shell structure after post-treatment. The preparation method controls the shell coating process, and ensures that the nanoprecipitated calcium carbonate having a core-shell structure has a cube-like shape. |
