abstract |
The present invention relates to a gene and cell therapy product using a cell fusion technology and a use thereof. More particularly, cells which overexpress hemagglutinin neuraminidase (HN) and F (fusion) protein were found to have an improved cell fusion potential with other cells thanks to the HN and F proteins and restore cells that have been damaged or are undergoing death, or genetically aberrant cells to normal cells through cell fusion therewith. Thus, a vector carrying a gene coding for the HN/F protein or cells transformed therewith can be advantageously used as an effective ingredient of a composition for prevention or treatment of cell damage-related diseases, such as neurodegenerative diseases or neuropathy, or muscular degenerative diseases or myopathy. |
