abstract |
This plasma-activated eyedrop generation device 2 for generating an eyedrop for treating epidemic keratoconjunctivitis is provided with: a power supply unit 2f; a plasma generation electrode 2e disposed around an insertion space in which an eyedrop container is inserted that has a container body for encapsulating therein a prescribed liquid aseptically; and a high-voltage generation unit 2g which is connected to the power supply unit 2f for receiving power therefrom and which applies a high-voltage electric current to the plasma generation electrode 2e. The plasma generation electrode 2e receives a high-voltage electric current from the high-voltage generation unit 2g and generates a plasma-activated eyedrop which has been plasma-activated by irradiating the prescribed liquid with plasma and which is used as an eyedrop for treating epidemic keratoconjunctivitis. With this configuration, it is possible to provide: a novel and effective eyedrop for treating epidemic keratoconjunctivitis; and a plasma-activated eyedrop generation device for generating said eyedrop. |
