The present invention relates to a copolymer of ethylene and isoprene, comprising from 10 to 35 mol.% of isoprene unit, of which at least 70% are in the 3,4 configuration and a portion is in the 1,2 configuration. A copolymer of this type with a reduced crystallinity is synthesised with a much higher productivity than its homologues of ethylene and butadiene, and also confers improved curing properties to rubber compositions. |
