abstract The invention relates to a method for preparing an AFX-structure zeolite, said method comprising at least the following steps: i) in an aqueous medium, mixing at least two FAU-structure zeolites, each of said FAU-structure zeolites having a molar ratio SiO 2 /Al 2 O 3 of between 2 and 200 inclusive, and a parameter P ze less than 3250, an organic nitrogen-containing compound R, at least one source of at least one alkali and/or alkaline-earth metal M, the reaction mixture having the following molar composition: (SiO 2 n (FAU) )/(Al 2 O 3 n (FAU) ) of between 2 and 32, H 2 O/(SiO 2 n (FAU) ) of between 1 and 100, R/(SiO 2 n (FAU) ) of between 0.01 and 0.6, M 2/n O/(SiO 2 n (FAU) ) of between 0.005 and 0.45, limits included, in order to obtain a homogeneous precursor gel; and ii) subjecting the precursor gel resulting from step (i) to hydrothermal treatment.
