The invention relates to the field of cosmetology, in particular to agents for hair removal. The technical result of the claimed invention consists in the removal of at least 95% of hair with the root, without pain or with significantly decreased pain sensations during epilation, and in significant suppression of hair growth up to and including its complete disappearance when the claimed agent is applied multiple times. The claimed technical result is achieved in that the agent for hair removal comprises two compositions for sequential use, specifically a composition for pretreatment of the skin and a composition comprising an active component. According to the invention, the composition for pretreatment of the skin comprises at least one substance having a keratolytic effect, selected from the group consisting of a hydroxy acid and a hydroxy acid sodium salt, in a quantity of not more than 12 wt%, and/or a substance having a denaturing effect selected from the group consisting of carbamide and a guanidine salt, in a quantity of 2 to 30 wt%. The composition having an active component is in the form of a gel based on at least one polymer selected from a group consisting of polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyvinyl alcohol, polyacrylic acid and polyacrylamide in a quantity of 12 to 18 wt%. The composition having an active component comprises at least one depilatory compound in a quantity of 1.5 to 16 wt%. |
