abstract | Provided is a method of treating a malignant tumor by an azabicyclic compound, in particular, a method thereof that reduces eye disorders. This method of treating a malignant tumor includes administering an effective amount of a 3-ethyl-4-[3-(1-methylethyl)-4-[4-(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-1H-imidazole-1-yl]-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridine-1-yl] benzamide (compound 1) or a salt thereof to a patient in need of the treatment according to a dosage regimen that includes providing a rest period of at least two days after daily administrations of the compound 1 or the salt thereof in a dosage of 40 to 240 mg/body/day as the amount of the compound 1. |
