titleOfInvention Synthetic bone graft
abstract The present invention relates to the field of bone grafts. In particular, the invention provides a method for producing a synthetic bone graft by 3D printing, an ink used for this method as well as the synthetic bone grafts. The present invention thus provides a method for producing a synthetic bone graft, comprising the following steps: a.providinga self-setting ink comprising α-TCP powder and a binder solution comprisinga poly(oxypropylene)-poly(oxyethylene) copolymer (such as a poloxamer) and water; b.3D printing to provide a scaffold; c.placing the scaffold in a humid atmosphere; and d.hardening the scaffold by immersion in water or an aqueous inorganic solution. The present invention also provides a self-setting ink for use in this method, and asynthetic bone graft.
