abstract A method of determining the false negative rate of mobile monitoring and the requisite number of mobile monitoring vehicles, belonging to the technical field of environmental monitoring. The system utilized by the present method comprises atmospheric pollutant monitoring devices (60) and a control center (30). The atmospheric pollutant monitoring devices (60) comprise atmospheric pollutant monitoring sensors (601), positioning modules and communication modules (603), and are installed on mobile monitoring vehicles and connected by means of wireless transmission to a control center (30). The system utilized by the present method utilizes public transport vehicles (20), long-distance vehicles (70), taxis (10), garbage trucks (70) and other mobile monitoring vehicles upon which are mounted atmospheric pollutant monitoring sensors (601) for performing real-time measurement, thus increasing monitoring objectivity and spatio-temporal coverage.
