abstract | The present invention provides a lubricant for a drilling fluid, a preparation method therefor and an application thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: 1) mixing styrene and water, adding an inorganic nano-intermediate, a crosslinking agent, and an emulsifier into the mixed liquid and stirring same to obtain a first mixture; 2) stirring the first mixture under an inert atmosphere to obtain an intermediate emulsion; then, heating the intermediate emulsion to 70-85°C, adding an initiator into the emulsion, keeping the temperature and stirring for 7-10 h to obtain composite polystyrene nano-emulsion having a particle diameter of 40-90 nm; granulating the composite polystyrene nano-emulsion sequentially to obtain composite polystyrene nano-particles; and 3) mixing industrial base oil, composite polystyrene nano-particles, and industrial oleic acid, uniformly stirring the mixture at room temperature to obtain the lubricant for a drilling fluid. The lubricant is easy to disperse in the drilling fluid, has good lubrication effect, low foaming rate, good temperature resistance and good compatibility with the drilling fluid. |
