titleOfInvention | Regenerated cellulosic moldings and method for producing regenerated cellulosic moldings |
abstract | The invention relates to regenerated cellulosic moldings and a method for producing regenerated cellulosic moldings in which a spinnable spinning solution having cellulose and a recombinant silk protein, especially a recombinant spider silk protein, is produced, the spinning solution is extruded through spinning nozzles, and the extruded spinning solution is precipitated in a spinning bath in order to form the cellulosic moldings, wherein the spinning bath contains a coagulant for the cellulose, which substantially does not dissolve the cellulose and the recombinant silk protein. In order to provide a method for producing cellulosic moldings which enables large-scale industrial processing and incorporation of silk proteins into cellulosic fibers, it is proposed that the recombinant silk protein be added to the spinnable spinning solution before the extrusion. |
