[Problem] There have been demanded: a method for producing a selectively bindable substance that can react specifically with a sugar chain in a glycoprotein in a biological sample, e.g., an antibody, without needing to treat the glycoprotein with a modifying agent in advance; a selectively bindable substance produced by the method; and a method for detecting a glycoprotein specifically using the selectively bindable substance. [Solution] In order to solve the problem, the present invention produces a selectively bindable substance capable of reacting specifically with a sugar chain in a glycoprotein by treating the glycoprotein with a sugar-chain-specific sugar chain cleavage enzyme. |
