titleOfInvention Printing plate development method and development device
abstract Provided is a printing plate development method that, in the treatment of development waste liquid, suppresses clogging of a filter, allows for long-term operation, reduces the volume of disposed development waste liquid by enabling the reuse of development waste liquid as a developing solution, and has excellent cost performance. The development method of the present invention develops, via an aqueous developing solution, a photosensitive resin layer containing a water-insoluble polymer, and involves a circulation route in which development waste liquid that was used for development is recovered and returned to a supply unit. A separation step is provided inside or outside the circulation route, and in the separation step, all or a portion of the development waste liquid is extracted and then separated, using a ceramic filter, into a high concentration developing solution having a high concentration of the water-insoluble polymer and a low-concentration developing solution having a low concentration of the same, and the low-concentration developing solution is returned to inside the circulation route. The ceramic filter comprises a material for which the average pore size of a surface side region at a depth of within 100 μm from the surface is smaller than the average pore size of an interior region further to the interior than the surface side region, and in the separation step, a plurality of ceramic filters are used.
