| abstract | Disclosed is a device for simulating free ranging, which relates to the field of poultry breeding devices. The device comprises plants (10) planted in a planting area, a breeding cage (3) arranged directly above the planting area, a ceiling (4) obliquely arranged on the top of the breeding cage, and a food trough (6) arranged on a front surface of the breeding cage, wherein the plants pass through a bottom surface of the breeding cage (3) and extend into the breeding cage (3). The device solves the problem of lack of physical exercise due to a low activity level of caged poultry as well as the problems of poultry excrement being difficulty to handle, and vegetation tending to be destroyed for general free range of poultry. |
