abstract |
A power storage device (20) is provided with voltage detectors (25A)-(25C) for detecting cell voltages (VcA)-(VcC), and a controller (26) for controlling the cell voltages (VcA)-(VcC). The controller (26) is provided with: a balancing control unit (27) for performing a balancing control to reduce variation in the cell voltages (VcA)-(VcC); a maximum cell voltage computation unit (28) for computing a maximum cell voltage (Vmax) from among the cell voltages (VcA)-(VcC); a minimum cell voltage computation unit (29) for computing a minimum cell voltage (Vmin) from among the cell voltages (VcA)-(VcC); and an abnormality sensing unit (34) for sensing an abnormality in the power storage device (20) in accordance with whether or not a difference voltage (ΔV) between the maximum cell voltage (Vmax) and the minimum cell voltage (Vmin) is within the range of a reference difference voltage (ΔVstd1), which is established on the basis of a record that the balancing control was performed. |
