titleOfInvention | Method for evaluating skin barrier function, and method for visualizing degree of skin barrier function |
abstract | The present invention provides a method for evaluating skin barrier function, including: (1) a step for adding a membrane-environment-sensitive dye to a three-dimensionally cultured epidermis having a stratum corneum and a stratum granulosum and culturing; (2) a step for irradiating the three-dimensionally cultured epidermis at an excitation wavelength for the membrane-environment-sensitive dye and sequentially detecting the fluorescence intensity of a gel-phase peak wavelength and the fluorescence intensity of a liquid-crystal-phase peak wavelength emitted from the membrane-environment-sensitive dye; (3) a step for calculating fluidity (GP), plotting the fluidity (GP) to create a fluidity distribution, and determining a first maximum value; and (4) a step for determining a skin barrier function value. The present invention also provides a method for visualizing the degree of skin barrier function. |
