titleOfInvention Sock and functional garment comprising same
abstract The present invention relates to a sock 1 which has a main sock body 2, multiple anisotropic first slip-stopping sections 10 and 20, and multiple anisotropic second slip-stopping sections 100 and in which: the first slip-stopping sections 10 and 20 are disposed in regions on the upper surface of the foot and on the sole of the foot that cover the proximal phalanges and metatarsal bones; in the regions covering the first–third proximal phalanges and the first–third metatarsal bones, first slip-stopping parts 11 and 21 are disposed so that the respective longitudinal directions run in a slanted direction from the outer upper section to the inner lower section and approximately parallel to each other; in the regions covering the fourth and fifth proximal phalanges and the fourth and fifth metatarsal bones, the multiple first slip-stopping parts 12 and 22 are disposed so that the respective longitudinal directions run along the width direction of the sock and approximately parallel to each other; and in the region of the sole of the foot covering the calcaneus, the second slip-stopping sections 100 are disposed so that the respective longitudinal directions run along the width direction of the sock and approximately parallel to each other. Provided thereby is a sock that can improve instantaneous force for sideways movements and turning motions during exercise.
