abstract | [Problem] To provide a display element capable of reversibly changing states of transparency, a plurality of coloring, and light emission with a single display element by varying an application voltage. [Solution] To address the problem described above, a display element according to one aspect of the present invention comprises a first electrode, a second electrode, an electrolyte held between the first electrode and the second electrode, and a voltage application means capable of applying a voltage between the first electrode and the second electrode, with the electrolyte containing an electrochromic material and a blue emission material.
