abstract The present invention addresses the problem of providing an image processing method, an image processing device, and a program, with which it is possible for cells to be identified with a high degree of accuracy, in cell identification employing image recognition technology. This image processing method includes an image input step of inputting a cell image, an auxiliary information input step of inputting auxiliary information relating to the color of the cell image, an image processing step of generating a plurality of processed images obtained by subjecting the cell image to mutually different image processing on the basis of the auxiliary information, a feature quantity extracting step of extracting a feature quantity of an identification target from each of the plurality of processed images, and an identification step of identifying the identification target from the cell images on the basis of the feature quantity.
