abstract |
Provided is a blue-light-emitting organic electroluminescent (EL) element of the thermally activated delayed fluorescence type which has a high luminescent efficiency and a long life. The organic EL element comprises an anode and a cathode, which face each other, and one or more light-emitting layers disposed therebetween, and is characterized in that at least one of the light-emitting layers comprises an indolocarbazole compound represented by general formula (1) as a thermally activated delayed fluorescence material and a carbazole compound as a host material and that substituent Ar2 bonded to a nitrogen atom of the indolocarbazole-ring compound has at least one fluorine atom. |
