titleOfInvention Absorbent article
abstract The present invention provides an absorbent article wherein a pH adjustment agent can maintain the ability to eliminate odor even with respect to repeatedly supplied body fluids, there are no significant restrictions in terms of the structure of the pH adjustment agent or where the pH adjustment agent is disposed, and the pH adjustment agent can efficiently and sufficiently exhibit the ability to eliminate odor. This absorbent article comprises a pH adjustment agent (7) at a position where the article contacts body fluids. The pH adjustment agent (7) has: a solid core (71) that exhibits acidity when dissolved in water; and a coating part (72) that coats the core (71) and is formed from a fat that is solid at ambient temperature. The coating part (72) has a communication section (722) that allows for fluid communication between the outside of the pH adjustment agent (7) and the surface of the core (71).
