Provided is a rubber composition capable of producing rubber articles excellent in terms of wear resistance and crack propagation resistance. The rubber composition is characterized by including a rubber ingredient (a) which comprises a diene-based polymer (a1) having a vinyl bond content of 20-100 mass% and a multi-component copolymer (a2) having a conjugated diene unit, a non-conjugated olefin unit, and an aromatic vinyl unit, the proportion of the multi-component copolymer (a2) in the rubber ingredient (a) being 5-40 mass%. |
