abstract |
An ultrasonic probe according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with a piezoelectric vibrator and an acoustic lens. The piezoelectric vibrator transmits/receives ultrasonic waves. The acoustic lens is provided on the ultrasonic wave transmission/reception side. The acoustic lens is configured such that, of the surface of the acoustic lens, edge regions located on both sides of a central region are formed to have a surface shape having a different curvature from that of the surface shape in the central region. |
